My son is very into the horse racing and wants me to try and produce something for his wall. If I get any where near as good as this I'll be very pleased. As yet I haven't had the courage to try.

Thanks Brian! I would have said that I hadn't had the courage before this week. The advice I'd give is - have a go! You'll learn something, even if you're not happy with your results.

Such a difficult subject David.... this is a great attempt.... my horse usually comes last as well. But let's both be positive for the New Year and get a winner in the National.

But your painting came first. Compliments of the season.

Wow David this painting is absolutely marvelous. I wouldn't know where to begin! I've even stopped betting on the Grand National 'cause I could never pick a winner!

Tongue in cheek title - I only bet once a year for the Grand National. Last time I picked a winner was 1991. A slightly more ambitious watercolour - 2 horses for the price of one.
