Difficult subject well executed

Like the way you have kept the loco colours muted. They wouldn't be bright and shiny in this situation. Love the subject and alwasy drawn to them, just watch the ellipses David.

Class 9F was the last class of British Rail steam locomotives to be built. The last one, evening Star, was preserved as part of the National collection, and another, Black Prince, was bought privately by the artist David Shepherd. Several others were bought from the famous Woodhams Scrapyard in Barry Island during the 70s and 80s. This one, number 92219 was one of them, and is pictured here, waiting patiently for its restoration.
