A very successful painting, David, lovely tones throughout.

Thanks Willie

Very nice work indeed David. Lovely sense of distance with the curved fence and nice muted tones.

It's very good work David. I can't place this - is it where the fair used to be in Aberavon?

Very good drawing skills evident here David, perhaps the line at the top of the distant hills is a little strong?

Thanks everyone. Margaret - I'm afraid that the funfair was removed before I moved here, but it's just past where the main road along the front curves round and becomes Victoria Road. This is where the prom gradually peters out, and there's a track downhill opposite the 3 cranes, which runs alongside the river. Stephen - that's fair comment. It would have been better had I not used that line in the first place, and just painted the hills in with a very light wash.
