Nice work, David. I want to give this type of art a try out but at the mo I am sticking with what I am comfortable with, portraits. I bought Urban Sketcher by Marc Taro Holmes on iBooks yesterday so that's a bit of reading I will be doing over the coming months. Anyway, all the best.

I painted this one over several session en plein air, while I was in Spain a week or so ago. Painting in acrylic in these baking hot conditions was certainly a challenge - the paint came out of the tubes much more runny than usual, and the other side of the coin was that it dried on the canvas almost immediately. I was going to offer it to the owners of the bar, but lost the courage of my convictions, but it's a nice memento of the holiday anyway.
