Thank you everyone. Obviously I don't know what time of day or which day of the week the photograph was taken, although the fact is that you'd be unlikely to see Euston so deserted at pretty much any time now.

You can tell it's from 1930 because there is train and no one on the platform. If you visit Euston today it will be rammed with people but no trains. Thanks ASLEF. That's progress.

A direct watercolour based on a black and white photograph from over 90 years ago. Such a long time ago, yet som many of the fundamentals of the tube are still recognisable.
