Hi Lionel. Love them both. Yes, paintings do tend to look better in real life but at least recording them digitally means you can then correct if necessary!! I've printed my cards now for the last few years and I know that relatives and friends often frame them [not sure where they put them but ... Hey Ho!!] Very satisfying.... DO NOT leave your things in the garage ever again... Enjoy your work.. All the very FESTIVE best to you and everyone reading this. Thanks. Tim

Well summed up by Tim - all the best

Two great winter scenes Lionel, I really like the warm glow in the sky. Merry Christmas to you.

Well said Tim, I especially agree with the bit about the garage! I shall have a word with your dear lady Lionel to lock the garage door and hide the key. Lol! This is a lovely composition, the lone tree on the right, then the group of three on the left, the track leading you to the eye catching splash of red. Spot on! I thought you may be interested in my New Years resolution Lionel......to practice painting rocks! X

What gets a bit worrying is when your uploaded paintings look better than they do in real life....

Many thanks to all for your encouraging comments - they are just what I need just now. Thank you Tim for your "summing up" and for telling me to keep going. And to Fiona who has the uncanny knack of saying just the right thing at just the right time! Thank you Michael and Val for your support - it is always appreciated. As far as these two winter scenes are concerned, I think I should mention that they were specifically painted for my two sisters each of whom are in their eighties.

Lovely gallery. I have enjoyed viewing your paintings.

Got sidetracked and hence delayed with this one. I may still be able to get it to my other sister by Christmas. I am sending them instead of shop bought Christmas cards. Winter Scene 1 has already been mailed. These two pics actually look better in real life, (no sniggering please), and framed. Each is 7 X 5 inches so am using inexpensive photo frames. Thanks for looking, folks, and seasons greetings to all.
