This is lovely, no cat gets a chance to have a 'nap' in my garden, I have a Wolfhound on patrol.

Almost can't believe this is watercolour as the colours are so deep and intense. Gorgeous cat and you have done such a great job of painting him.

You have captured the totally relaxed pose of a cat in slumber. They almost melt into the floor when they are asleep and at peace, don't they? you have conveyed that. He's lovely. Jx

Painted from a photograph I took of one of the local cats in his favourite spot in our front garden. It was a slightly overcast day, but fairly warm and he was unaware of me taking a few photos. He looks cute here, but when he is awake he has a distinctly grumpy expression! This one sold at an exhibition this summer too.
