It's more than good enough, given your state at the time. Hope you're gaining strength each day.

You have done so well - the perspective is so good. I agree with Robert. I wish you a speedy recovery.

I add my wishes for a speedy recovery too, Linda.

Thank goodness you could manage to sketch, it can be pretty boring in hospital. It looks like you had some vibrant colour to catch your eye, and I'm sure doing these small sketches lifted your spirits. Very best wishes for a speedy recovery.

You did really well Linda, to paint a watercolour under such circumstances. It will make a lovely historical record in the future when all the hospitals change their decor, update equipment, etc., and when someone finds this in the attic, they will write about your life and the circumstances of the birth of the painting and auction it at Sotherby's for millions of £££'s!!!! Hope you get better soon. Jx

This painting has a lovely quality about it, and I hoped it made you feel a bit better while you were in hospital Linda, and of course like everyone else I hope your recovery goes well!

This is a good painting, well done. Get better soon.................

This is a quick sketch I did whilst in hospital recently recovering from major surgery. It isn't very good, mainly because of the two tubes in my left hand which meant I couldn't support my tiny sketch book very well, and the cocktail of drugs I was taking at the time. The sketch shows the view across the ward from my bed to the bed opposite.
