Thanks for your comments. I'm surprised some of you know the song. I didn't, I came across it by accident as you do on the internet. I thought it far too saucy to put the words with the picture...but I loved the nautical name. (Obviously I've led a sheltered life.)

I didn’t know the song and only know of Barnacle Bill in the Rupert books!! How innocent is that? - not like some of you lot! However, my husband knows it so I got treated to a few lines….it would certainly have been “ interesting” Lew if you’d added it.
