4 great characters. Mmmm, B&W, bet POL members can make suggestions, they look very 'official'!

Fab characters Lew. The bottom right one looks like a resident of Ankh Morpork. The two with caps may be Wanderers from Bolton??

Great characters Lewis. I particularly like the black faber soluble pencil sketches.

Like the two cheery chappies on the left. Bicycle Wardens surely, trying to stop people parking their bicycles in the cracks in the pavement.

Four great characters Lew , super artwork, could be some kind of warden ? .

I agree with Heather Lewis, 4 great characters. My suggestion for BW is Barking Wardens, to stop dogs barking illegally.

Four great sketches, especially like the one bottom right.

Four great drawings Lewis.

Thanks very much for your comments and suggestions. Wanderers from Bolton, Bicycle Wardens, Barking Wardens? All perfectly good suggestions for this type of picture. I'm amazed I can't remember, at the moment it's a blank. I recall drawing the top left, thinking it wasn't what I wanted, and having another go with the bottom left pic. It was to be a large picture with lots of people up to 'something.' In a park? In an art gallery? BW?? No, I'm flummoxed...it's gorn!

These are fabulous Lewis

Great characters Lewis.

You know some funny people Lew….love em.

Great characters as always, Lewis!

Superb characters that are beautifully drawn.

Super characters Lewis. The two on the left are definitely very officious- just look at that finger. Really like the little chappie on the right.

They so tickle me Lewis. Best Wishes, lol

Amazing work Lewis

Interesting that you have achieved more tonal qualities with the soluble pencils. Lovely sketches.

All are great Lewis. My suggestion for BW would be Jonathan Ross for British Wail still not working!

Drawings made some months ago, but never posted. The odd thing about these is that I can't remember why I drew the two figures on the left. I do recall that I was intending them as sketches for a large picture I was planning. My memory and events have driven the idea from my mind. They have 'BW' on their caps...what's that about? I don't know. Perhaps it'll come back to me.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
