We have to have some news, but there's no escape from it now. My phone pings me with news bulletins, it's on TV, i-pads, radios and computers...the only doom merchant I'm spared these days is the fabled 'bloke up the pub'. I don't go there.

Love your artwork Lewis and yes, the news is mostly depressing and annoys me when I hear something very trite that has little bearing on the bigger events in life, not reported.

Very good Lewis and yes, we can overload our brains, saying that, a large proportion of our brain, goes untapped. I often wonder, why we were given this super power of a large brain and don't use it to it's full capacity.

I sometimes think we are swamped with information, much of it grim that we can do nothing about. Would we be happier without it? This was the idea I was trying to visualise, not sure if I managed it, but here it is anyway. A3 Sketchbook. Dip pen and Indigo Blue/Cad Red water-soluble coloured pencils.
