I understand what you mean by the architecture Lew, nonetheless, you’ve pulled the main character off a treat as usual!

You may not like th backgrounds, but compared to the basic sketch you posted recently, it has really brought this to life.

I agree with Paul- you’re too hard on yourself. This is a superb painting Lewis, main character and the background.

Well he looks a pretty shrewd character with an air of authority Lewis. The city backdrop falls away nicely and could that be Watson wearing the brown suit in the background I wonder?
