Lew, I think your blue-ish toned skin works better against the gold background than Klimt's more yellow skin tones.

Attempting the forum challenge. Klimt used oils and gold leaf, I'm using watercolour-pen-coloured pencil. Not the whole picture, thank goodness. All those background patterns drove me barmy...gave up trying to 'copy' them, just made patterns roughly in the 'spirit' of the painting (hopefully). Fun doing it. Lesson learned...avoid Klimt's patterns.
