Great imagination as usual Lewis. I hope he's going to rescue her.

Such good drawing skills Lewis and a delightful painting!

"And the hunter home from th hill" . Nice work and beautifully represented Lewis.

The colours are great Lewis, I still have a set of Reeve's paints I use from time to time, love the drawing as well 😀

Very nicely done Lewis. A sailors lfe for me too.

Wonderful Lewis, the colours are beautiful.

Thank you all for looking at my picture. Sometimes when you look back at a picture that's a few years old, you take a different view of it. At the time I was thinking about the bits that hadn't come out as well as I'd hoped. With a small passage of time, I've forgotten all that, and now I like this picture. But I guess I'm not alone in that.

I love your artwork. This one looks like it could be an illustration for a nursery rhyme book (although that sailor looks like a bit of a rogue).

Wonderful work Lewis, I don't know how you manage to think of them.

Great piece again Lewis, your figure work is exceptional.

Here's a painting I did some years back. At that time I was using a cheap tin of Reeves paints. The colours on the original still look OK, but it is in an old sketchbook and so doesn't see the light of day. 12 x 16 inch Sketchbook.
