Another beauty, Lewis. The sea is brilliant.

Just love your characters Lewis another beauty.

A few years old it may be Lew, but fresh as a daisy. Delightful.

Another beauty, do hope he can swim.

Always a story in you pieces Lewis, and detail of course.

Great sea, great face, great ship.

Great work Lew but hope there's no sharks 😳

Poor Jack, brilliant painting Lewis.

I should have seen the mistake before. He is managing to keep afloat and has no hands!! I don't know Lewis first you get the number of fingers wrong and then you leave off the hands completely. What is the world coming to ??

Another one Lewis ! And love how good the sea is painted.

another beauty and at least the bowsprit is pointing his way so all is well - and wet

So very good Lewis, do you have these hanging in your shed? You could enter the shed of the year competition!!

Great story and painting, Lewis. Enjoyed looking at this one, as always. Brian

Brilliant water, Lewis

Thanks to everyone who had and look and commented. As to Tony's comment about him having no hands...well...I'm going to have to say this...sorry...the poor man's ship went down with all hands! (Groans all round...I blame Tony.)

Just seen your last comment, very very funny. (I take all the blame, and will try to behave in future!)

Another pic from our old shed, that we call the Boat-house because it has a few nautical nick-knacks in it. It's very far from the sea. 10 x 8, watercolour and pen. This is a few years old.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
