Amazing artistic and computer skills, especially from someone so old and doddery !!!. You have an amazing talent. Very well done.

Brilliant again Lewis, I love the determined look on the boy who is batting!

Terrific Lew. Grandma's taking a big chance so close to the batsman, who looks a determined little tyke. Shades of childhood. Lovely.

Very well painted Lew. I do prefer your watercolour work though. Digital can look a bit too clean sometimes but that is just my opinion!

A great image Lewis - I love the expressions - and the colander helmet!

I can see how this would take as long as a painting in trad media, with all the detail. Yes, grandma could get a nice whack on the face!

Love the safety helmet!

Thanks as ever to all for looking and your comments. I enjoyed doing the occasional digital pic, but these days my hands aren't as steady as they used to be. Curiously I can still draw despite the wobbly mitts.

Brilliant Lewis, I couldn't even begin to do this. I so admire your skills in all media!

Oh just look at that face! Real concentration there. Great talent you have too.

in a way it´s mixed media and full of little gems

This is a couple of years old, I don't do much digital now. The figures were drawn in pencil, scanned into my computer, and then 'painted' in Photoshop Elements 5 (A pretty ancient version now). The background I was able to 'draw and paint' within photoshop using the mouse. I like digital but don't find it any quicker than 'normal' painting...probably because I'm old and doddery.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
