A legend about Silbury Hill. The Devil is annoyed with Marlborough, with a vast heap of soil in his apron he sets off to bury the town. The Mayor hears he's coming and collects all the worn shoes he can find. He dashes off to meet the Devil. 'WHERE ARE YOU FROM?' says the Devil. 'All the way from Marlborough.' said the Mayor. 'HOW FAR IS IT?' said the Devil. 'Don't know,' said the Mayor, emptying his sack, 'But I wore out all these shoes getting here.' The Devil dumps the heap of soil where they met.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
