Odd what sticks in the memory...long trousers were an important thing back then, probably because most of the lads had them before me. Poor old dad was struggled and had four boys to clothe...he had to get my stuff from the school's appointed outfitter, and they were expensive. I'll be taking a break from this for a while, I want to do something else.
