Isn’t memory a wonderful thing, even when a bit sketchy ( pardon the pun!) and these are wonderful too Lewis.

Great character sketches, Lew, showing true emotion. Bri

I like these characters, showing great expressions, nice to add to you new project oh those memories.

Ethel, though she is but little she is fierce.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Yes, Janet, although a little dot of of girl, Ethel was fierce, or perhaps determined.

Both these kids were in my class at primary school Lew. (-:

Ha ha fabulous again Lewis! I think we all had a couple of these characters in classroom

Lots of character Lewis.

An interesting exercise... I don't fancy I would be able to draw anyone from memory very closely. These both have your hallmark style and tonnes of character so good job I'd say.

So cute looking they are marvellous

Oh the “ attitude” . brill.

Great to be able to do these from memory.

Love those expressions Lewis

Took my wife to the doctors yesterday, I knew it would take a while, so I did these. Memory plays tricks on you. I don't have photos for these friends, but Brian seems about right...he had a mop of curly hair and was always stooped over. Ethel, a tiny girl, doesn't seem to fit my hazy memory of her. I may have another go, but it's not important, I'm not attempting 'portraits' here.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
