Great selection of characters Lew! I like how you’ve made some of them eyeing up the others, and the cabinet set up works very well for this and generally. Do I sense more of these coming along!?

Absolutely top class cartoons, Lewis, like Tessa, I'm enjoying them all eyeing each other up!!

The poses and expressions are just brilliant Lew

What a great concept and each and everyone is fantastic

Superb work

I just adore this. Love the characters and the detail. Love the expression on the mouses face

What a great idea Lew, plenty of scope for more of these excellent characters, each one is a superb example.

I think the disgruntled pig (if a pig can be dis-gruntled) top right is my favourite, but can't help but wonder if Lew has sneaked in a cheeky self portrait top middle.

Such an interesting array of characters and expressions with different emotions on show. Very good Lewis.

Fascinating detail Lewis, so full of character.

So full of imagination Lewis. A wonderful selection.

It takes a good imagination to think up something like this Lewis, fabulous! The pig and the dragon are definitely not keen on the bather

Amazing eye for detail in all of these images, terrific stuff Lew!

Outstanding picture Lew, each character superb.

This really made me smile. I love the embarrassment of the little naked pig. 😁

Interesting selection of expressive characters, and they look so good together in the setting of that cabinet. Hope you do more similar.

Fabulous idea Lewis and amazing result, your imagination and technical ability know no bounds, can't wait for the next one!

What a great assortments of characters Lewis. Each one of them is an art in itself.

Thanks very much for your generous comments.

Good decision Lewis as you can do your wonderful expressions, they're all just priceless.

I'm interested in these cabinets. This was going to be realistic at first, but that would require me looking for reference pics. At the last minute I decided to make it a cartoonist's cabinet, which leaves me free to make things up. Pen, watercolour, and coloured pencil.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
