Nonsense worked for Lewis Carroll and it’s worked for Lewis Cooper. Great imagery, beautifully executed.

I like your mixed media Lew I always recognise someone I know. Keep at it you make people happy.

Brilliant idea Lew , so much going on and it’s all extremely well drawn and coloured. If this is nonsense then you should do more I’ve looked at it a few times already and notice something different each viewing, very entertaining.

That's not Woody Allen in disguise, bottom right? No, no, it's just nonsense......but rather good nonesense.

A great bit of nonsense and characters. Very well done Lewis. I really look forward to seeing your work.

Love your nonsense (and fantasy) pics - so many interesting characters and little details to spot. Please do more.

Your nonsense is very good - keep it coming!

Brilliant nonsense- and so much to take in. Keep it going!

A cornucopia of daftness! And why not…we need it!

Thanks very much for your encouraging comments.

Brilliant set of pictures Lew .

It's great nonsense Lewis, very imaginative.

Really super Lewis. Makes me laugh. Can I politely say, “Stop putting your art down.”

Amazing and imaginative drawing, Lewis!

More great work Lewis.

I like nothing better than 'your nonsense" Lewis, fantastic!

More nonsense please! I don’t care if it inspired by Edward Lear or Lewis Carol, as long as it is Lewis Cooper!

Most of my time is spent in nonsense Lewis, I have the odd moment when I pretend to be normal…..I don’t recognise any of your creations in my world so this is a nice change….😂

A great selection of characters Lew and some bizarre details. Your work always makes me smile. I bet you could do a wonderful Trump and Karmala- if only someone put the idea out there….

Totally agree with Andrew. loads to engage with, Lewis, as usual!

What wonderful nonsense!

Complete nonsense...I don't know what's happening either. Struggling to get stuff done, not because of lack of time, laziness I guess, and losing interest. So I thought I'd try nonsense. Mixed media.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
