All very good (I like the top left best too)

Interesting to hear your experience with photoshop - love the sketches too!

Bottom right for me...just what is he doing? And why?

They are all good Lew I prefer the top left one. Lew when I looked I thought something is missing but couldn’t put my finger on it, then I read that you had done then digitally . There is nothing wrong with Digital but it doesn’t have the LC touch I can’t say what it is exactly may be the colours are to even and smooth. Help in digging a big hole here .

All good Lewis but I do like bottom right best.

All well done Lewis, we all need to try New things.

Whatever you do usually turns out tops Lew, keep rolling them out whichever way.

Digital is not easy I’ve found. I like the bottom right picture the best- more like your own style

All very good, as usual, I prefer the top left

Thanks very much for your comments. Always valued. It does look different Dixie. Some illustrators I like use simple outlines with flat colours like this. Some days I struggle with a brush (old age), but seem OK with a pencil or pen, this is an easy way to add colour and I may need it as I get older.

If digital helps you keep going with your art that’s a great thing, the longer the better, but I understand the point made by Dixie. They are different as is any other different medium

It's interesting you trying out digital same time... I have decided to get back to digital exercises too. Unfortunately the second hand iPad I've bought atthe beginning of this week has turned faulty?! The screen issue... I've sent it back this morning... So now I'm just looking for decent one, but I'll buy brand new rather, after this bad experience... Nice digital drawings Lewis!

Love the bowler hat in the middle of Monument valley. Reminds me of a couple of experiences! But the bottom right really has me intrigued!

These are line drawings imported into photoshop where I played with the colour. If I keep the drawings really simple the digital side is very easy...in so far as anything is easy these days with my old program. The slightly more detailed drawing...girl bottom left...involved a bit more messing around, so I've learned if I'm going to make pictures this way keep it simple. I like the top left pic most.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
