Brilliant quote...neither do I , Lewis!!! Cracking drawing too!!!

Outstanding, Lewis, both artwork and quote. Certainly brings the 'objecthood' of a smile about ones face :)

Certainly I'm confused I think. 😀 a great character Lewis and quote.

Excellent drawing Lewis, I have no idea what it means either.

I think it's a statement about prevarication and procrastination (something I'm familear with in art terms!) - very good drawing as always Lewis

There's nothing quite like arty b*llocks. Nor anything quite like a Lewis sketch.

Superb sketch Lew , as to be quote it’s like most comments by by art critics understandable by the minority to confuse the majority.

Fluent bollocks Lewis!

Excellent Lewis and great artwork.

Sums up the art world perfectly Lewis. Great character drawing as lways. Love the pinky.

Should be ‘pinny’, sorry. .

Thanks for your comments, always valued. It beggars belief that people can come out with this claptrap.

Superb illustration Lewis and the quote sums up everything that's wrong with the 'Art World' - pretentious nonsense.

Great quote and character Lew , keep them coming.

You've got him perfectly Lewis, brilliant.

Love that pinny

Super Artist and his statement is matter of fact so don't think there is any fact of matter,,, his apron certainly shows he has style!

Super artist - but is he speaking my language? Sounds like something the “experts’ “ speak.

What? Clear as mud Lewis! Great character.

Wow = marvellous as always.

I once said the same thing, funny what a coincidence.. we must be crazy artists!!

And I thought you'd made it up! A superb character, Lewis!

Ha ha. Love it. It’s why artists should draw and shut up!

Not sure what means but he obviously does - super art, Lewis

Perhaps he never actually painted anything, he was too busy pontificating! Great as always.

This apparently is a genuine quote from an artist talking about his work, I don't have a name. I think it's written in English, so I ought to understand it, but I don't. It leaves me wondering what the artist's work looks like. Drawing in pen and watercolour, text added in photoshop.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
