He looks pretty good to me, Lewis!

Haha, great illustration Lewis. He’s not Gene Kelly by any chance?

Expresses the meaning so adroitly. My wife is one of these. Clearly has other odd tastes as evidenced by her choice of husband

A joyous little character, well done as always Lew.

Excellent happy character, and I love the look on the guy in the background!

It's great and have just learnt a new word too!

... and Ombrophobia is the opposite!

Beautifully drawn Lew , I definitely a mild case of Ombrophobia hate the stuff and get very irritated .

Oh BRAVO Heather...that's a good word. I like these odd words that normal people never use. I've illustrated a few over the years, and forgotten what they mean about a week later. Curiously, one I illustrated a few years back I DO remember...'cattywampus.' Probably because most of the pictures hanging on my walls are slightly cattywampus. That's down to my DIY skills...the word 'skills' is used VERY loosely in this case. Thanks to all for your comments.

Art, education and humour, what a combination.

I’m surprised such people exist. There’s no accounting for taste. Very expressive Lewis.

What a wonderful character and interesting word too - great fun, Lewis!

What an excellent painting Lewis. I love rain, always have, but didn't realise I was one of them.

Great picture Lew , love the rain dance.

I don't mind the rain Lewis and never worry about taking an umbrella out with me. Although I don't do the tango when there's a downpour. Great painting.

Great illustration, Lewis! (I like summer rain, especially when the gardens need it, but not the miserable stuff we get this time of year.)

I presume this wonderful character might be tap dancing Lewis. ..

So good lewis!

I do love this Lewis. I must admit to loving the rain we've been getting here lately, the land was just so dry, it was needed, so I've become a pluviophile.

He looks so engaging he should be on tourist brochures to encourage visitors not to be put off by the rain :)

Such a happy chappie … but I have to say I’m more like the person under the umbrella.

While looking for another word, I came across this one. Which prompted this rather rushed drawing. I'm not getting much done artwise at the moment.

Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
