No doubt who this is, a peach of a drawing. After all these years, why isn't it fixed?

Great likeness enough for me to be able to identify her. I won't comment at length on your comment! I'm still a member of the Labour Party, and have been hanging on by my fingernails for the last 7 or so years; but I never expected an attack on pensioners as one of the govt's first acts. And I don't think they realize just how badly this has gone down. Still: better the fireman than the fire....

Instantly recognisable Lewis. This party is the party of lies and most despised. I've never shouted at my TV so much.

An amusingly good likeness Lew! Let’s hope she doesn’t wreck our pensions now. 😞

Wow a wanted for crimes to pensioner and false statements poster , bit like the wanted poster in the Wild West. As said great character and instantly recognised, love your humour Lew , we need a poster for the head honcho Most Wanted.

Something from the treasury of your imagination....I like it!

Agree with you Lewis and it's a good likeness ... that long nose has ben telling porkies!

We are not putting up taxes, just stealing your winter fuel allowance, great picture Lew , you forgot the broomstick.

Agree with Robert on that one, I’m a member too and will remain one. I would much rather keep to talking about art rather than continuing to get irate about politics. It’s a beautiful sunny day today - good likeness by the way Lewis.

It's all very worrying, we seem set for a downward spiral. GPs, dentists, chemists all having to make cutbacks because of the employers NHI increase. They've just put up students tuition fees after saying they wouldn't. In 2020 Starmer said he'd abolish tuition fees. This is relevant to me because my grandson goes to University next year. Now they are talking about reforming pensions...for the better, they say. But this is politician speak. Their actions (as opposed to their words) show they have little regard for pensioners, and apparently little regard for our youngsters. They are the most important, they are our future. Don't know why I'm saying all this...what's the point. (Think I'll go away and draw someone with a big-nose who isn't a politician. For sanities sake.)

A really good caricature, you do these so well ! Its a beautiful sunny day here too !

Bring back Spitting Image, they'd have a field day.

Good likeness Lew and interesting comments. Sadly it seems most politicians feel the need to mislead because they don’t trust us with the truth. I still feel lucky and grateful that I live in a country where we can mock them without the fear of being locked up or worse

A very good likeness Lewis. I’ve been rather critical of all politicians for some years, they all promise the world and then back track. It’s better than the alternative, a power mad dictator I suppose. I can only think the funds must be quite low for Starmer to take such drastic action. At least my pension is safe, for the moment.

Excellent image, Lewis. The woman with the black eyes (I've yet to see them) and dead soul, she is the personification of despair . . . they know what they have done, and going to do, this is just a start of things to come.

Wonderful, and everyone obviously knows who this is. Could you please enlighten someone from the other end of the planet who is unfamiliar with your politicians? (I get enough of politicans with ours!)

I've now found out who she is.

You’ve been very kind to her in this drawing Lew. If they had been truthful they would never have been elected ( and they know it!)

Politics? Don’t get me started! Good caricature Lewis!

Oxymorons are commonplace in our speech, I read this one and thought...politicians. This lot make out they're reacting to shocking discoveries in the economy, but they knew all along they were going to massively increase taxes. They are still pretending they aren't taxing 'working people.' Taxes had to go up, why not be straight about it? Not a great caricature, but close enough.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
