but still effective with the connection of the two phases. No , I haven't heard that limerick before either.

Thought provoking & funny.

Fabulous drawing, you do not need to plan Lew you are a natural!

Always great characters so well drawn

It's a great layout Lewis, fantastic drawing.

Superb artwork Lew, I agree with Carole , your a natural.

Very good coloured pencil Lewis. Have never had a beard, seems it wouldn't have helped ! 😀

Thanks to all for your comments. I had a beard, briefly, until I discovered they needed as much fiddling with as having a shave. My wife said I looked like a tramp.

Think you’ve captured the haughty indifference that some French women can show. Great little Frenchman.

Magnifique, mon ami.

Never mind the beard, he's not very fanciable in those tight fitting pants..lol

I think she is saying “ Je m’en fou”. I.e. I don’t care, or more literally I am mad of it. She has a lovely expression. He definitely looks keen, but weedy! LOL.

I think it's brilliant. Still fab. Great drawings 😏

Love how you’ve painted her eyes expressing disdain and her dismissive hand gesture. You e painted the chap so well with his exuberant, mad look and the excessive beard. Marvellous as always Lewis.

Love the beard Lewis, I've not managed anything like that length - someone usually complains.

A super way to end my day Lewis with a big 😁

As usual your illustrations are super Lewis, and your captions are funny and to the point. (I think if you had chosen to do this for a living when you were young you could have been proper FAMOUS).

Didn't plan the layout on this, could have done it better. As I'm unlikely to do it again, I thought I'd post it.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
