Well Lew ,thats how I feel this morning. An excellent and superbly drawn really character , you are so skilled.

Well, if it is an oldie then it is a golden one. I have to say I am tempted to feel that way after two Christmas related disappointments yesterday.

Ha. Another member of the Grumpy Old Gits Club of which I’m obviously a member

You were lucky to catch him on one of his good days!!! Great sketch. Master Bob Cratchit. I mean Lewis.

The old ones are the best, and this is brilliant.

Brilliantly drawn Lewis and thank you for starting the Pencil thread on the forum, it got me back to using them and I'm enjoying them.

Here he comes again! Is it something to do with age? I haven’t put anything up yet and I’m already looking to January….😳

A great portrayal of a wonderful character Lewis.

Great drawing Lewis. It's all the Christmas songs on the radio that drive me mad and they start in November.

I can't help but smile at the humorous nature of your work but what amazes me is the impressive draughtsmanship which makes each picture a serious work of art.

Glad to know you're for softening Lew!!

My goodness, powerful words and image ... you are so clever!

Even more exceptional than ever, just a wonderful depiction Lew!

Love it Lewis. Very clever drawing.

Bah brilliant Lewis.

Yeah, humbug. Great drawing Lewis.

Superb. What a character!

I feel I should be enthusiastic, but…….it will soon be over!😉 Great art Lewis.

Brilliant, Lewis. I'm already looking forward to the lovely quiet period after Christmas!

All that shopping around! Humbug I agree. Excellent artwork Lew, what a character.

Yup! Love that expression and totally agree with him!!

Fabulous. Love your tonsils!

What's the meaning of all this merriment going on? "Every idiot who goes about with 'Merry Christmas' on his lips, should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holly through his heart." So there... An oldie. Dark Indigo coloured pencil.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
