I always like the way your imagination works and your drawing skills never fail to impress and make me smile

Super drawings Lew. Love the way your Frenchman is leaning on his baguette!

Great observational skills as always Lewis.

Ace characters as always Lew

I love them - so funny and always excellent drawing, Lewis!

A lovely pair of drawings Lewis.

Great expressions on their faces Lewis. Super drawings.

I’ve come to a complete standstill re painting….these are excellent as usual, all the great details.

Super characters Lew , typical French.

Fabulous drawings Lewis, loads of lovely detail.

Thank you all for your comments. Much appreciated.

These are brilliant Lewis! She seems to be having a great time crushing those grapes, and I love the nonchalant way the man is leaning on his baguette which is about to break.

Your Frenchman has that very Gallic look- can almost imagine him shrugging his shoulders as they do. Love the “dancing” grape crusher!

However little you produce it’s always a pleasure to see your work and give us all a smile. I hate it when life gets in the way and stops us from painting.

Love this, Lewis! The expressions are priceless, and you've totally captured the essence of the theme!

Two is better than none to tickle our fancies. Thank you Lewis for brightening my day!

Lovely! Great illustrations. The lady crushing the grapes with such gusto against the Frenchman leaning on his French stick. Brilliantly done.

Great drawings Lewis.

It's all in the detail. The baguette about to snap!

Wonderful characters Lewis. I saw a Martin Brown (illustrator) exhibition a few weeks ago and thought of you.

Couple of coloured pencil drawings. Not getting much done lately...two little drawings in a week.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
