Ooh, this is different Lewis and depicts exactly what you set out to do ... just not so sure on the colours but maybe that's me.

I think you have certainly hit the target Lew and make a good point, once again superb artwork.

Such unusual effects that really scream out to the viewer Lewis. Very clever stuff.

So different and so good!

The Reds v The Blues. Social history in so many ways. great stuff.

Football is very tribal isn’t it!? And you’ve captured that well here. I assume this is before rather than after the match because they all look quite happy, even the coppers! Good one.

Like the happy faces of the opposing teams, if only it was like that today, well done Lewis another good one ☺️

Thanks for your comments. I did consider a more rowdy crowd, but changed my mind.

So you've been to a Bolton match the Lew ? we play in white, but the faces are the same any colour. Good work as ever.(-:

Love it Lewis, obviously it's the Derby in my neck of the woods.

Being a footy fan I can relate with the pre match good humour. Tbh 99% of fans are good humoured but the others catch the news more often. The twin Bobbies have got faces like they know the match has been cancelled! Ha

Good one Lewis, they all look a happy bunch

Nice one. It reminds me of some of the big full page pieces you used to get in the Dandy or Beano when I was a kid, lots of interesting faces.

Great illustration of berthing that I hate about football. However the crime rate drop on Saturday afternoons, so there is something to be thankful for.

Great work Lewis. I thought the same as Andrew, reminds me of the old comics.

Very skilful artwork, Lewis!

Came back to this as am sure others would have understood the colour reference and NOW I know!

Superbly effective

This is great, Lewis - love the composition and colours.

Attempting to depict the 'tribal' element of football fans...in this case, a well behaved bunch. One of those ideas that seemed better in my head (as most do)...maybe I'll grow to like it more. Pen drawings imported into photoshop, where they were arranged and coloured. This is the most basic use of digital.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
