A great painting Lewis, I have never got on with acrylic but I keep meaning to have another go at it sometime, this is really good it has a look of Topal 😀

It's a great portrait Lewis, I think it's a shame that you haven't continued producing more of this ilk. Perhaps the comments you receive will provide you with the encouragement you need to pursue acrylics further?

Thanks to all for your encouraging remarks. I'd never thought of this as a portrait, it's made up, but I suppose it still counts as a portrait of a 'type' as Gudrun said.

Another pic from my boat-house (shed) I've been waffling on about. This is acrylic on board. As it's a bit nautical in was stuck in my shed. This is one of the reasons I cleared the shed out, to enable me to use stuff like oils and acrylic and leave everything in place whilst working on it.
