Many thanks everyone! I'm really having fun with these, and they're helping me speed up which I need to do if I'm going to finish anything plein air. Plus... they taste good :) Hi Marjorie, yes I'm missing water a little but I'll be interested to see what happens with the water after doing these exercises.

Love the contrast of brush strokes on the cherries-short and subtle for shine, against the bolder applications of paint in the background. This really is good.
