Gudrun and Sylvia, many thanks :) The paper is from a 50 sheet pad of A3, Acid free, cold pressed NOT paper, 140lbs, from Cass Art, I love a bit of texture when I use charcoal.

A strong drawing - the muscle groups are particularly well defined. I'm not a fan of nude drawings or paintings (not prudish - just want to get them dressed, lol!) or charcoal (get covered in the stuff and make a ghastly mess) but you have handled my two bete noires with aplomb - so you get my congratulations.

Many thanks for all the comments, they are very much appreciated. Thea, I love charcoal for just the reasons you don't, I find it quite liberating, (as well as very messy), but I accept it's not everyone's cup of tea ;)
