A Love Triangle

He did not know that his previous girlfriend was so serious, and that she was often secretly following them when they met, and she even installed an app on my friend's phone that actually allowed her to see his emails, texts, photos, as well as his location on the map. (By the way, I always told him that he needs to use a PIN or fingerprints on his phone, but he never bothered). So she saw the emails from Airbnb for the flat they hired in Montmartre, and she flew to Paris and came to the address before them, and she took the keys from the locker, as she knew the code, and she probably made a copy at the locksmiths nearby whom she probably found in advance, and placed the keys back in locker.

And so in the evening, and it was two years ago, in June, when the evenings last till late night and are very bright, she burst into the flat in the most romantic moment, grabbing a broom, which was presumably left by a cleaning lady, and started crushing everything on her way, and the new girlfriend of my friend was terrified and tried to escape, and she beat her badly with the broom. (Miraculously no broken bones happened). She did not touch my friend though, as she claimed she was still loving him, and she only hated his new girl, as she was insisting that that girl was the culprit of their separation.

The mood of the evening and in fact the whole holiday was irreparably destroyed. My friend had to pay around £2000 for the broken candelabra light, which was very antique. I was always telling my friend to go to police, but he was pitying the girl. Later she told him, ‘I realised you are not in love with me anymore once I saw how passionate you are with your new girlfriend’. She went back to Poland and she worked in a Covid department in the hospital, and regrettably she died of Covid last September. And my friend separated with the other girl too, and he even moved from Kingst… to North London so not to meet her anymore, which reminded him of this sad story.
