Trevone Beach

We were there a couple of weeks ago. Lovely place and you’ve captured it well, even down to the hole on the headland! Very good detail, especially like the way you’ve painted the beach itself Karyn.

Hi Tessa, I look at the field from my kitchen window. Today the rescue team were out either practising or actually retrieving someone or something from the bottom of the round hole!

Thanks Carole and Tony. I used phthalo blue in the sky and sea instead of ultramarine blue which I think lends itself to a summertime palette.

It amazes me what you can do with acrylics! I find it incredibly difficult. Your scene has wonderful light and textures in the grasses and sand.
