Soft pastel on pastelmat; 50cm x 70cm This is the second painting in a series of four lighthouses from around Northern Ireland. Reference photo is my own - it was fun going out to photograph this series. The lighthouse is one of the most distinctive around here with its vivid colours and red foghorn. Set against the hazy backdrop of the Mourne Mountains this painting couldn't be more of a contrast from the first painting in the series (also in my gallery).
