Lovely believable figures Michael..

Nice authentic movement Michael. Jack on the left looks a bit apprehensive. (-:

Thanks Rachel and Jim. They're called 'Crushers' in the RN.

Great movement Michael, really looks like they are stepping out.

You’ve certainly got this navy lark off to a tee, Michael.

As Rachel says, so very believable, I can hear the boots clomping!

A pleasure to look at your work, Michael. Pastel and watercolour sounds an unlikely pairing to someone like me who hasn't tried it. Obviously, it works well.

You are so good with the sailors Michael, their shapes are perfect.

Keeping an eye on Her Majesty’s dock/naval yards no doubt. You will know this Michael....is it still a hanging offence to set fire to Her Majestys dockyards? Super movement and purpose to your Jacks!

Thes ' Jack' paintings have been great Michael, fab figures.

Strong figure work Michael, and sense of movement.

Thanks to all. Yes Fiona, at least it was when I was in but I imagine it has been repealed now.
