Lovely handling of the watercolour paint Ross, the wet into wet is excellent - a superb painting full of drama and atmosphere. I like the movement of the birds too, hope you don't mind me asking, but I'd be interested to know if you masked them out before painting?

Many thanks Hilary but I have to admit that the birds, initially, were a 'happy accident'. After I'd seen them appear I managed to avoid them and keep them in but really they weren't planned at all. A bit luck I guess.. :)
