Storm - Windsor Great Park circa 1986

I spend alot of my time Katy fiddling with my paintings so I know how you feel. This is a lovely composition either way.

What a fine horse he was Katy. A lovely painting.

Well done you for persistence, I like it Katy

I think it's turned out well Katy - the sense of movement is very good. Storm looks lovely - looks a bit Exmoor ish in this painting.

A lovely painting Katy. Perseverance does help to work it out.

Thank you Chris, Denise, Heather, Sarah and Spencer for liking Storm, I never thought I would finish it to be honest. Sarah, he was a Welsh cross TB but the points on his muzzle and eyes did give him an Exmoor look.

A lovely way to remember your first horse Katy. Fiddled with or not its a lovely painting.

Very clever painting showing movement with the horse jumping the fence Katy.

My first horse Storm. I started this painting in 1996, I fiddled, faffed and filed it over and over again. First the horse was wrong, then right. Couldn’t get my position right and then I got it. Then I hated the background and changed it. It’s been spattered with paint from other paintings. So I’ve cleaned it up, titivated again and here it is, less than perfect but done (or is it!) Acrylic on board 18” x 14”
