Hi Kat, your work is fantastic, great detail. As someone just learning pastels, can I ask what colour of paper you tend to use? I tried a pastel on dark blue paper and black paper, but looked really dull, the paper seemed to show through. Which makes me think lighter colours are best. Hope you don't mind me questioning you, after seeing your work, no better person to ask! Kind Regards, Julia

'A Tale of Two Wolves' depicts a pure bred white wolf and a grey wolf in the snow. The photographic reference for this painting was a composite of two or three photographs and it was wonderful fun to put together two wolves whom will never meet in actual life. It measures 23 x 18 inches excluding pewter frame and triple mount.
