Kat, this is stunning, as indeed are all the pictures in your portfolio. How do you manage to get such crisp detail with pastel? It's your clarity of line that I find so incredible ?

A great pastel, from a great gallery. Entirely with you in your sentiments, too - we're allowing greed for resources and overpopulation to destroy a world which is about so much more than just the human race, and the irony is that if we do destroy it, the human race itself will suffer its own destruction.
