Interesting subject you've chosen, the face reminds me of the painting " The Scream ". Like your choice of palette, what medium is it?

It is both sinister yet captivating at the same time...the colours add to its atmosphere...I like it too

Ah it is you Kat667?...pleased to find the connection.

Great painting Kat. I found you lol. Impressive galleries too.Best regards Paul. There is a posting in the forum called invitation to view a gallery.Just copy your gallery location and paste it in that thread then all will get to find you.

i love this................agree with others...............full of mystery..............great imagination

Thanks, I painted it from one of my own photographs. I'm a very spiritual type of person and have a passion for ancient sites.

This is wonderful, I also have a great interest in ancient things, stones etc, I think you have done a wonderful job of this, full of mystery and secrets so old they have been forgotten in time, only through magic could he be made to reveal those secrets! Annie

Thanks Annie, I love sites that are so old they almost seem part of the natural landscape rather than man-made. The place where this statue is is wonderfully tranquil, in the stunning Fermanagh lakeland (Lough Erne).

Hi Kathryn you are bringing my childhood back to me...love this it's so Irish
