Perhaps not as clearly as you wish, Karyl, but from what I can see, it has a strong composition and lovely palette.

Sometimes it's harder to upload your work showing it to its best advantage as I know only too well! I reposted Max after putting it on the computer and playing around with it until I got a more realistic image to the original. Maybe you could try something like that? From what I can see it does look to be a lovely scene, it is however very dark on my screen, would love to see it more clearly

Karyl in colour! This one could do without the flash/light. However, the others are ok. Perhaps crop the irrelvant bits. I can't claim to be an excellent photographer myself ..... Rather good paintings though!

Hi Karyl. Photographing dark is tricky (believe me I know). Don't photograph in strong sunlight. I tend to do it early morning or late afternoon and try not to use a flash. This looks like an amazing painting but it could be shown better. I've just had a thought that you've probably already re-posted. Sorry if you have but I start commenting from where I left off not on page one.
