Waterfall is so well done - can hear and feel the thunder as it hits the river. Love the wet in wet technique on either side. Lovely reflections too.

Hi Karleen a wonderful painting indeed...agree with all of what Jeannette says...keep up the watercolour anyone who can make a painting like this having only just started with the medium is to me a naturla

What a lovely misty, spray feel this has. Lovely. Well done.

Very well painted water!

Thanks Jeannette for your lovely comments, it always gives a nice boost to my day :).

Thank you so much Patsy Ruth and Lesley for all your very kind comments, I am totally enjoying using water colours, your comments gives me the inspiration to continue on with the medium, many kind regards Karleen.

Agree with Jeannette, that waterfall is soooo well painted and the whole painting has such a lovely quality about it. Well done.

I think you may have found your natural medium. Very good.

My leaves bent shadows over the gaping edge, shuddering with a nervous rustle. Should I peer into the mirror pool frowned with wrinkles. And behold some terrible wonder among the gnashing thunder and froth. Love the aqutic sparkle and cool ambiance :-)

Hi Karleen, I know how difficult watercolours can be to use, that's why I stick to oils, but this painting is lovely. Many thanks for your kind comments on my vase of flowers.

Thanks Val, Robert, Rod, and Norman, your very kind comments are always deeply appreciated, many kind regards Karleen.

You could almost hear and see the rushing of the water. Nice work. Thanks for your encouraging comment on First Days in June. Chi2

Your welcome Chito, yours was a lovely painting, sincerely appreciate you popping in and leaving a comment, kind regards Karleen.

Simply Seeing an excellent Gallery, this one is my favourette: James

Thank you ever so much for viewing my gallery James, much appreciate your comment, kind regards Karleen.

Hi Karleen, many thanks for your comments on my work, I like all of your work but I particularly like this one ! It is so similar to one I have done myself that I used in one of my tutor classes to show them how to paint casading water. Perhaps I may sort it out and put it in my Gallery so you can see how similar they are, great minds think alike as they say! Beautiful portfolio!!

Water colour, 210 gsm, just playing with the colours and trying out differant scenes, its a bit darker than what I was trying for but found water was alot easier with water colours than my other mediums I use. I only have four colours so think I will invest in a few more colours as I find it hard to get the colours I'm after with what I have.
