I like it, Karleen...it's different and simply painted. Atmospheric too, it has worked well for just a bit of fun!

Monks marching through the swirl of evening mist. I like the drip of subtle blues. Bravo! I like to doodle when I can, or splash a dab of paint- even if it's not a masterpiece, there is always a nice effect, or something of interest learned. I appreciate you sharing your casual paintings :-) and how you play around with the creative process.

Thanks also Rod :-) I do enjoy to doodle with my paints, now its so much cheaper with water colours and a little sketch pad, I'm building my way up to doing a large water colour soon, courage permitting :). Very atmospheric. Loved Rods idea of the hooded monks. those trees do look like they might move or maybe we can hear a gregorian chant ..Great job
