Very atmospheric, these scenes are difficult to do. The only point (niggle, niggle) is that waterdoesn't flow uphill - the line where water meets land needs to be straight, or rather flat - otherwise the picture looks as though it's falling away to the right.

That is very true, I knew there was something :-) these are the only paintings I have ever done, oh I have a couple but!!!! wouldn't dare be brave enough to post them, thank you for pointing it out. I do appreciate it, thanks.

I use a ruler...cheat cheat...lovely again...It's been a pleasure to stroll through your gallery

Thank you so much Patsy, it is just great to have people commenting on my art, the ruler sounds good, will def be trying it out next time.

The velvet noctural hues are delicious. Wonderful subtle touches.

Thank you Rod, it now belongs to my mum as she loved it so much I gave it to her:).

Being part Canadian, this one strikes a chord. A very soothing piece.

Thank you ever so much for your comment, and taking time to visit my gallery, kind regards karleen.

Hi Karleen, Adelaide still is a city of churches. A few are night clubs and restaurants some sell wedding dresses but not much has changed. I live in Victor Harbour by the way. Thanks for your positive comments on my work. You too have some lovely pieces, keep up the good work
