I gather from your paintings that they are mostly about Australia - great colours too! Thanks for the comments about "Yellow field with tracks" - I found it hard to convey the brightness of those flowers on a really sunny morning - I think it gives the impression OK. I hope I am doing right by replying on your gallery site?

This reminds me of those wonderful rich textures of a weathered deep forest tree that has been split open. It is though you can read the story of its life. As I touched her face with a sigh, her wrinkles unfolded into a smile, and somehow I understood the weight of her days.
