Thank you everyone for your really kind comments. There has been such a variety of colour in the sunsets this summer (that is when we have actually seen the sun) but I really wanted to try and capture this one!

What a super impression of a sunburst trying to get through clouds Karen, it has that brilliance that you can hardly look at, even though it isn’t full sun.

A stunning piece, Karen - I really love how you so expertly reserved the little flecks of whites in the sky to create such a dramatic effect. Love the washes too - clear, clean, translucent. Watercolor at its best!
