Nicely done Karen 😊

Very good. The sky is particularly nice.

This is really well painted, the trees are particularly good.

No mucky mess here!

Great little scene Karen. Hope you get to love your pastels. I find them so forgiving and love using them. Love how you have painted the hills and the foreground.

Works a treat Karen. A lovely pastel landscape.

Love the way you’ve done the trees Karen, a beautiful painting.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments. And thank you Carole; I did enjoy painting this and am planning a composition of my own next time.

Lovely pastel work Karen, I particularly like the contrast between the shimmering trees and the solid colour on the mountains

Thank you Sarah.

Graham is very good at showing beginners how to construct a pastel painting. You have learnt well !

He is Richard. Thank you for your comment.

The Old Barn Near Buckbarrow 8 x 111/2in. I have been struggling with pastels but really wanted to give it a go. It was great for me because I just needed to know how to use the pastels without ending up with a 'mucky mess'!
