Lovely watercolour - good foreground. Smashing looseness pleasing to the eye.

Thank you again Jeannett. I feel I may have overdone the ink. I shall try the same motif again later.

Have found your gallery and like the looseness of this. I think the ink does a great job in pulling it together. Well done. If you do one without the ink I would go for more contrast. Ignore that, it is just an amateur speaking!

Hi Judith Thanks for your comments on my picture 'Ice' Have another look as I have put a few more tips on in the comments box. I like this painting in watercolour and from your use of wet in wet here, I feel you would enjoy this approach in acrylics. I like the drawing of the blue tit too, it'sexcellent!

I was thrilled to have your comments about my work .You are not so bad yourself. You are an accomplished artist.Brilliant! !

Just spotted this one on the random gallery, very fresh painting with those lovely greens. Are the dark lines ink ?

P.S Just read above. It does say ink, sorry. I don't think you have overdone the ink, it looks fine.

What a wonderful sense of peace in this painting. I love the looseness. In my opinion the amount of ink is just right. Well done!

Really like this Judith, lovely greens!

I think we have a distinctive style here.

Again beautiful Judith...I don't think you have overdone the ink I think it makes the painting

Great picture, Well done.Regards James

the clarity of the tree and the detail of the bridge merge beautifully with the haziness of the rest of the painting. Great work. the different greens work together. which colours did you use for the greens? i always have a problem there.
