We've recently come back from a holiday in Tenerife and went to Los Cristianos one day to have a look at the place. It looked exactly as you've painted it :)

Lol - Its a bit wild on the colour side - think the man in the mobility scooter wasn't that orange in real life. My family have an apartment in Los Gigantes - do you know it?

Great fun - love the rather large chap getting about in his buggy - that's the way to travel, eh! Super strong colours which tell you immediately that this is a place in the hot sun.

Stunning bright work Joseph, very effective piece

He probably was that orange colour Joseph! I don't know the place that well. On the plane there, the lady sitting next to me asked where we were going. 'Tenerife' I stupidly replied..LOL.

Lol - it would have been even funnier if she said she was going somewhere else :-)

This made me smile, Joseph - you've captured the fun and very relaxed atmosphere beautifully.

It gets worse Joseph, I turned to my husband and asked him where we were going...LOL

Can really feel the heat in this one, it's white hot. Like the wheelybins, bringing us down to earth from dreams of sun and palmtrees.

Thanks everyone for your cool comments - this on was just a bit of fun really (wanted to go a bit ott with the colour and was interested in the bins/paradise contrast). Louise - LOL x

You have and it's a great contrast. The chap will go that colour if he is out in the sun too long!

Glad I didn't focus in on the cat muck in the way of contrast - I have no moral boundaries lol. Think I was beginning to look a bit orange after a while on that beach :-)

Initially I thought this was a wicked modern take on the Fontana del Bacchino in the Boboli Gardens in Florence! It's brilliant - not least the signature (lucky you!)

Thanks Kim lol, the signature with the giant dot on the i describes the contents of my mind :-)

It's all watercolour Annette
